Responsible AI
Responsible AI is how we work, not a disclaimer. AI-enabled workflows need a clear purpose, the right data access, named accountability and a way to catch wrong answers.
Five questions we ask of every AI use
Purpose
Define the business problem, the intended use and the measures of success before anything is built.
Protection
Review data access, privacy, security and what information could be exposed.
Proof
Test outputs against real scenarios and agree acceptance thresholds before go-live.
People
Keep accountable owners and human review wherever the workflow needs judgement.
Performance
Monitor usage, quality, incidents and the value actually delivered over time.
Controls we put around AI
Proportionate to the risk: a reminder bot needs less than an assistant that touches financial records.
- Human oversight for decisions that need judgement or authorisation
- Least-privilege access, so people and tools see only what they need
- Testing and review before any change reaches production
- Named owners, monitoring and an escalation path when outputs are wrong
- An AI use-case register recording purpose, data, owner and risk
Frameworks we draw on
We use recognised frameworks to structure governance work: India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act.
These are reference points for how we advise. Kramaxis is not certified under any of them, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
